The National Hurricane Center declared Colin as "post-tropical"late Tuesday morning.
Colin's center of circulation became elongated and not well defined as it moved off the Southeast coast. This means it will no longer be considered a tropical cyclone as it moves away from land over the western Atlantic Ocean.
