Allergy-sufferers,beware. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America released its list of the worst cities for seasonal allergies in 2025,and your city may be on the list.

More than a quarter of adults in the U.S. suffer from seasonal allergies,according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Allergy sufferers are now exposed to longer pollen seasons and increased pollen concentrations as the planet warms,which may be intensifying allergies for many.

Location matters when it comes to seasonal allergies. For the report,the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America weighs tree,grass and weed pollen scores through the year,as well as over-the-counter allergy medication use in each city. But access to local,board-certified allergists and immunologists are also scored to find the worst cities for allergy-sufferers.

Wichita,Kansas,topped the list again this year as the worst city for allergy sufferers in the U.S. According to the report,the city had worse-than-average tree and grass pollen,worse-than-average allergy medication use and worse-than-average board-certified allergists and immunologists to help treat those with allergies.

This is the third consecutive year that Wichita has earned the number 1 spot as the worst city for seasonal allergies.
